There is a new love in my life and I couldn't be happier! I have kept this relationship under wraps because I just didn't know where it was going. I wasn't sure of the level of commitment. I was unsure of how others would feel. But after two weeks and hours spent together, I am ready to reveal.
Isn't she pretty? Her name is Sunny. We are learning a lot about each other - I am finding out trust is important. I am still pretty tentative when it comes to riding, but the great thing is that my community has many strong bikers who are willing to share advice. I will figure it all out, for right now I am just enjoying the ride!
Yay! Tell me more about Sunny, where did you find her, how did you pick her, etc!
ReplyDeleteI got really lucky - I was with my chiro and he was teling me I need to start biking to give my legs a break. Then he offered to sell me his since he upgraded. He is my height so I knew the frame would fit. I sent photos to my bike mechanic friend and he told me if I didn't buy it, he would!! So here I am - a bike owner!!
DeleteEnjoy!!! Took me a while to get comfortable with "Little Blue' but now she's is just as loved as my running shoes!!!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get used to her - have not been brave enough to try cycling shoes!!
DeletePretty! Enjoy your summer cycling!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I am enjoying all your teacher tips!!
DeleteNice! I have recently pulled my bike out of the garage and hooked it up to the trainer. I am nervous about riding her out on the street so I am hoping to get over that and do it soon! Have a great time with Sunny!
ReplyDeleteI would like to get a trainer. Good luck on the streets!! I live on country roads so that is not my issue but I am afraid of getting a flat tire and being out in the middle of nowhere!!
DeleteThat is so awesome!! We have a great biking community locally here and that will help lots I am sure!! I love to ride my bike on the trainer in the winter too.
ReplyDeleteI know!! I can't wait for that!!!!
